London − Distribution and production company Boulder Creek International (BCI) has announced that it has signed a licensing deal with RTL CBS Asia Entertainment for two of its factual series Lift Off (26 x 30’) 4K/HD and Losing Traction (13 X 30’) 4K/HD.
BCI’s Senior Sales Exec Pamela Martinez Martinez brokered the deal with one of the world’s largest entertainment groups. Its two channels, RTL CBS Entertainment HD and RTL CBS Extreme HD will be taking the documentaries produced by The Go Big Project to show in its Asian footprint, including Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand later this year.
The Go Big Project, led by Rocky Romano and Miranda Winters is a collection of talented producers who create compelling, story-driven content coupled with stunning cinematography. Lift Off, shot in 4K, is the story of two elite athletes who swap pursuits to explore the pain and pleasure of the other’s sport, whilst looking behind the curtain at the real lives of action sports athletes. Losing Traction, also shot in 4K, tells the David and Goliath tale of a professional, underfunded drifting team led by youngster Matt Field who still lives at home, as they compete against better-funded teams.
Matt Jeschelnik, MD of BCI said, “We’ve had a lot of interest in these two series as they are so special and we are delighted to be working with such a major player in the Asian market – RTL CBS Asia Entertainment.”
