Singapore – Toggle announced that the Toggle app is now available on Xbox One. This expansion into the gaming industry allows Toggle to reach out to a larger group of audience through a very exciting platform – Xbox One. Toggle’s foray into the gaming arena allows it to reach out to a younger demographic group which is part of its youth engagement strategy.
With the constant changing consumption habits of viewers, it is pertinent for Toggle to reach out and engage viewers differently. This collaboration with Xbox One reinforces Toggle’s unique proposition of offering content on the go, whenever and wherever, adding an additional platform to its existing portal www.toggle.sg and app on iPhone, iPad, Android devices and Smart TVs. This is also in sync with Xbox One’s vision of integrating work and play using the same device.
“We are very excited about this collaboration as MediaCorp wants to be a forerunner in the digital space to provide local entertainment content via Toggle. This collaboration puts us in a good position to reach out to the varying audience groups, allowing our viewers to consume our content at their own pace, through the privacy of their own devices,” said Anil Nihalani, Senior Vice-President, Toggle, Digital Broadcast Business.
Current hand gesturing feature in the Toggle app allows interactivity with its gamers, with the ambition to support voice command and other interactive features in the future. The app allows users to control and dictate their viewing experience at their convenience.
“Commitment to our fans in Singapore is key at Microsoft. By bringing local content to the Xbox One through Toggle, we see this as an opportunity to deliver a unique experience to our fans and at the same time, showcase the all-in-one entertainment offering of the Xbox One,” said Hanson Yap, Marketing Manager, Microsoft Singapore.
