Singapore – MediaCorp’s regional broadcaster, Channel NewsAsia, will telecast “live” the procession from the Istana to the lying-in-state proceedings and the state funeral of Singapore’s first Prime Minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
These pictures will be made available to the international media and news agencies. Selected daily news coverage will also be uploaded for the Asiavision News Exchange for members as well as for access by others.
All video clips are for use free of licensing charge within 14 days from the time of broadcast or upload by Channel NewsAsia, as the case may be.

Each of the three proceedings will be shown “live” on Channel NewsAsia. Foreign broadcasters covering the events need to record the proceedings off the international feed of Channel NewsAsia. There will be no relay or upload of recordings of these “live” coverage.

Selected content will be uploaded for the Asiavision News Exchange. Participating members of the Asiavision News Exchange can access the footage subject to Asiavision’s terms and conditions. The licensing period is 14 days from the time of upload by Channel NewsAsia. Other broadcasters and news agencies can go to Channel NewsAsia’s website to complete and submit a request form for these news clips. Use of these video clips is free of licensing charge within 14 days from the time of upload by Channel NewsAsia. Terms and conditions apply.
After 14 days, use of these footage will be priced at prevailing licensing fees.
