Beyond Distribution announced that Caitlin Meek-O’Connor has been appointed the Head of Acquisitions. Meek-O’Connor will report directly to Michael Murphy, General Manager of Beyond Distribution, and will be based at the company’s London office. Meek-O’Connor leaves DRG where she was the Acquisitions Manager for Factual and Factual Entertainment.

Meek-O’Connor will be attending Realscreen with Murphy and the retiring Head of Acquisitions Yvonne Body. Caitlin succeeds Body, who recently announced her retirement after twelve years with Beyond.

Michael Murphy commented, “We are delighted Caitlin is joining us, bringing her experience in programme acquisitions and a solid background in sales. She will be a strong addition to the Beyond team and I am sure producers will enjoy working with her.”

Previous to DRG, Meek-O’Connor was the Head of Sales & Acquisitions with Mercury Media and before that worked within BBC’s Commercial Agency.
