Alexandra Clert, former lawyer, scriptwriter and writer, as well as the Vice President of Content Distribution Marcello Coltro, from Cisneros Media, have confirmed they will attend this edition of RioContentMarket.

Two more names have been confirmed by Esmeralda Produções – RioContentMarket 2015 content curator – an event that will be held from 25 to 27 February in Rio de Janeiro. After nine years working as a criminal lawyer, French national Clert started to write a pilot script of what would become the series Spiral, or Engrenage in its original French. The series, which was created in 2005, portrays the day-to-day routine of the judicial and criminal branches, presenting several points of view – police, jury, prosecutor and attorney. The series’ success made Clert quit her legal career to become a writer and scriptwriter, working in several pilots and stories for TV production projects. Since then, she has worked on over 20 projects.

Coltro is executive Vice President of content distribution at Cisneros Media and also manages the network´s subscription TV and content distribution units, reporting directly to the company’s president. Before, he held important positions in several media companies, like MGM Networks Latin America, where he was executive Vice President and Head of Marketing. He also worked for TVA Brasil and Directv, in addition to companies like Pizza Hut and Brahma/Inbev. He is a member of the American Film Institute and Academy of Television Arts & Science. Cisneros is the biggest media content group in Spanish in the world, with studios in Florida, Miami and Caracas, in Venezuela. They sell TV shows in over 100 countries and in 20 languages, spreading over the five continents, producing 6 thousand hours of content annually.

The fifth edition of RioContentMarket, the biggest audiovisual content production event in Latin America, open to the television and digital media industry, will take place from 25 to 27 February 2015 at the Hotel Windsor Barra, in Rio de Janeiro.
