RTL CBS Asia Entertainment HD announced that it has secured exclusive regional pay TV broadcast rights of four major awards shows produced by Dick Clark Productions. These include the Billboard Music Awards®, the Hollywood Film Awards®, the People Magazine Awards® and the American Music Awards®. These awards season kicks off when the Hollywood Film Awards® airs live via satellite on 15 November, Saturday, with a red carpet pre-awards coverage. This will be followed by the American Music Awards® live via satellite on 24 November, Monday.

This year, the Hollywood Film Awards® will make its inaugural broadcast debut on Friday, 14 November from the legendary Hollywood Palladium. The Hollywood Film Awards honorsexcellence in filmmaking and is the official launch of the awards season™, with some of theworld’s biggest stars in attendance. RTL CBS Entertainment will air the Hollywood Film Awards®live via satellite on 15 November, Saturday at 9:00am (8:00am JKT/BKK) with a red carpet preawardscoverage at 8:30am (7:30am JKT/BKK).
The annual American Music Awards® features over 16 performances from today’s hottestartists and presents fan-voted awards in the categories of Pop/Rock, Alternative Rock, Country,Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Adult Contemporary, Contemporary Inspirational, Latin, ElectronicDance Music, New Artist of the Year, and Artist of the Year. The American Music Awards is oneof the biggest music shows in the world and is seen in more than 160 countries.
The People Magazine Awards® is a celebration and recognition of the year’s most influentialand talked-about people in pop culture, celebrity and Hollywood. The show will also featurespectacular performances from the most exciting and influential artists, as well as a variety ofthe year’s compelling personalities as presenters. The ceremony will air live on RTL CBSEntertainment HD in December.The 2015 Billboard Music Awards® will showcase the year’s hottest and biggest music stars.Billboard Music Awards finalists are based on key fan interactions with music, including albumand digital singles sales, radio airplay, touring, streaming and interactions social media andother popular online destinations for music. These measurements are tracked year-round byBillboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Entertainment and Next Big Sound. The 2015 Billboard Music Awards show will air live on RTL CBS Entertainment HD in May 2015.
