Globo’s productions Brave Woman and The Life We Lead have been licensed to air in Mongolia. Brave Woman was licensed to NTV. Airing rights for The Life We Lead were acquired by the TV5 network.
Broadcasting mostly original Mongolian shows since its incorporation in 2006, NTV is now betting on foreign productions. Brave Woman will be adapted to hook the country’s audience to this Brazilian story. The story of Morena (Nanda Costa, Seize the Day), a young victim of human trafficking, is captivating, exciting, and has already won over audiences around the world.

In Brazil, Brave Woman was aired in Globo’s primetime and reached a good ratings average of 38 points and 65% share (Source: Ibope). In South America, Brave Woman recorded high ratings in Teledoce, from Uruguay, and Canal 13, from Chile. In 2013, Brave Woman premiered at SIC, in Portugal, where it currently tops the ratings during its air time (Source: GFK). The telenovela has also been aired in Africa. Cape Verde (TCV), Angola (TPA1) and Mozambique (STV) are already licensed to air the show.
TV5, which airs its programming both in nation-wide network and via streaming – a resource particularly used by those living abroad, will soon feature The Life We Lead in its grid. The telenovela tells the story of sisters Ana (Fernanda Vasconcellos, Pages of Life) and Manuela (Marjorie Estiano, Two Faces), who overcame life’s twists and turns, and found their way to happiness.
Filmed in HD, with careful photography and beautiful sceneries in Brazil and Argentina, The Life We Lead reached the impressive ratings average of 24 points and 52% share in Brazil (Source: Ibope) in Globo’s access primetime, telling the tale of how the two sisters overcame tragedy and were able to find happiness. This Globo blockbuster was already licensed to air in 98 countries and led ratings in Uruguay (Teledoce) and Ecuador (Ecuavisa). In Portugal, it was one of the most seen shows of Globo’s channel (basic), ranking amongst the most popular paid TV shows in the country.
