Berlin – Da Vinci Learning, the family channel with educational programming, will be available in High Definition in Asia as of November.
Da Vinci Learning, the educational and fun TV channel from independently owned media group Da Vinci Media GmbH provides high-quality knowledge-based programming to families of all ages, all over the world. With its ‘no violence’ policy, Da Vinci Learning creates a safe environment for younger viewers and aspires to be a useful educational tool for all ages.
With a November HD launch, Da Vinci Learning becomes the first family channel dedicated to education to launch in HD across Asia, making the educational programming better and more engaging.
The channel has signed a Globecast Hong Kong Limited contract for an upgrade to High Definition in Asia as of 18 November. The new HD Channel will hence offer Da Vinci Learning’s Asian customers the chance to enjoy all of their programmes in a more detailed and crisper manner than ever before.
Da Vinci learning is currently available on platforms in Asia in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Burma and Taiwan. The channel is expected to launch in India, Sri Lanka, Korea and Cambodia within the coming months. Da Vinci Learning has live VOD offerings in both India and Singapore.
