TRESemmé teams up with E!

September 23, 2014 by TVA Editor

Singapore – NBCUniversal International Television’s channels division knows what women want to watch and wear. The entertainment powerhouse continues to distinguish itself in the marketing-to-women arena via an APAC sponsorship package with TRESemmé – a haircare brand that inspires fashion and style with their suite of professional products for the modern female consumer. In addition to the U.S., TRESemmé’s sponsorship on E! covers the Philippines, Australia and Indonesia and includes bespoke content created for broadcast on E! revealing what’s hot on the New York runways, including the latest trends, styles and looks.

“E!’s collaboration with TRESemmé at the 2014 New York Fashion Week is another example of how NBCUniversal’s channel brands offer advertisers a unique way to target women across Asia,” says Christine Fellowes, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Universal Networks International. “Through E!’s positioning as the premier entertainment destination for celebrity and entertainment news, TRESemmé was able to effectively reach their desired female audience, across the region.”

For Indonesia, the campaign extends beyond a programme sponsorship. The collaboration included specially produced content featuring Indonesian actress/model Mariana Renata, TRESemmé’s brand ambassador in the territory. In addition, six bloggers – also known as the TRESemmé Savvy Style Seekers – from Indonesia went on a once-in-a-lifetime trip and attended the 2014 New York Fashion Week.

E! News Asia highlights include an exclusive interview with TRESemmé Hair Director – Matthew Curtis, where we see him styling for the Misha Nonoo fashion show, and an interview with Taoray Wang, an up-and-coming designer from China.

NBCUniversal International Television’s High Heeled Warriors psychographic research on urban women across Asia has been instrumental to the company’s successful track record in developing creative advertising solutions for clients who target the female market, including on E!, the home of celebrity and showbiz news. To keep up with the latest fashion trends, tune in to E! for this special coverage on the New York Fashion Week. E! provides up-to-the-minute news on the latest trends to its viewers through fashion forward programming such as Live From The Red Carpet and E! News.
