Stockholm – Accedo, the global market leader in TV application solutions, announced August 25 that it is powering the latest launch of the maxdome video-on-demand service, onto Xbox One.
maxdome is Germany’s video-on-demand provider, with a vast catalogue of more than 60,000 high quality video titles, including films, series, comedy shows, documentaries, music, children’s programmes, and many more. The service is already available on Smart TV, PCs, mobile and tablet devices, and with this latest launch, the service now reaches more than 35 million devices.
This latest launch sees the same vast video catalogue now available to customers via an Xbox One, which offers a number of innovative features, including gesture and voice commands, smart glass support, Pin to Home, and Snap Mode, which enables viewers to switch instantly between content and apps, and even continue playing a game whilst watching the latest movie via the maxdome app.
The maxdome app features separate sections for Series, Movies, and Kids entertainment, with a different User Interface for the Kids section, which uses simplified navigation, making it easy for youngsters. It also features the ability to create favourites lists, and to be offered recommendations based on viewing history, within the app.
