Singapore – HBO Asia announced on June 27 the premiere date of HBO Asia’s latest original mini-series, Grace. The four-part hour-long horror mini-series will premiere on October 17 at 10pm on HBO / HBO HD (StarHub TV Ch 601) with new episodes airing weekly, culminating in a two-part finale on Halloween, October 31. Also available on HBO GO one hour after it airs on HBO and on HBO On Demand the Monday after its HBO debut.
In addition, HBO Asia announced the full talent line up of Grace. Completely conceptualised and developed by HBO Asia, the mini-series boasts of an all-Asian ensemble cast including U.S. – based Russell Wong (Romeo Must Die; HBO Asia’s Serangoon Road), Singaporeans Constance Song (Point Of Entry; The Ultimatum), Pamelyn Chee (HBO Asia’s Serangoon Road; Little Nyonya), Jean Toh (theatre productions The Crucible; Midsummer Night’s Dream), Vivienne Tseng (Code Of Law; Lust And Found) and Taiwan’s rising star Teresa Daley (Transformers: Age Of Extinction).
Newly announced cast regulars are Singaporeans Lim Yu Beng (The Tattooist;Anna And The King) and Lim Kay Tong (Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story; HBO Asia’s Serangoon Road), along with Singapore-based George Young (The Pupil,Final Recipe), Shane Mardjuki (Sayang Sayang; Pulau Hantu), Nora Samosir (Masters Of The Sea; Passion Flower); and New Zealand-based Yoson An (Jawbone; Ghost Bride). With guest appearances by Jimmy T (HBO Asia’s Dead Mine; The Pupil) and Sunny Pang (The Collector; Code of Law).
About a father’s mistake which condemns his family to unspeakable horror,Grace, set in present day urban Asia, examines the Asian concepts of family, sacrifice and vengeance. The mini-series will be aired in English and Mandarin, with local language subtitles in selected territories.
