Dan Rose
Paris – MIPCOM has announced that Facebook’s Vice President, Partnerships, Dan Rose will give a keynote address on October 7, 2013 as part of MIPCOM’s Media Mastermind Keynote Series.
Each night in the U.S., between 88 and 100 million people visit Facebook and many of them are talking about TV. As more and more people turn to social media to discuss what they are watching on TV – including more than one billion monthly active users on Facebook – broadcasters and content creators are thinking more strategically about how they engage with their audiences on different platforms.
In his MIPCOM address, Rose will share his insights on how key players in the industry are leveraging the power of social media. He will explore new opportunities for producers and broadcasters in terms of driving viewer loyalty and retention and influencing TV ratings. Rose will discuss the impact that word-of-mouth at scale is having on the TV industry and how broadcasters can tap into this phenomenon.
Dan Rose is the Vice President of Partnerships at Facebook. He joined Facebook in 2006 after seven years at Amazon.com where he held various positions in business development and general management.
