Singapore – MediaCorp has appointed Nick Fawbert as its Head of Digital Enterprise from August 1, 2013. Fawbert brings with him 20 years of experience in the media industry. Based in Singapore since 2007, Fawbert was instrumental in the formation of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) in Singapore, getting key industry players onboard the IAB to develop the local digital ecosystem. Prior to joining MediaCorp, he was CEO of Third Space Consulting, a boutique Southeast Asia interactive digital media consultancy firm.
Fawbert will report to MediaCorp CEO Shaun Seow. He will help build on digital initiatives started by MediaCorp this year which include investments in e-tailer, Reebonz and games publisher, Cubinet, and the launch of an incubator scheme where MediaCorp nurtures start-ups in technologies relevant to the company’s core businesses.
