CNN International announced that Andrew Demaria, Head of CNN Travel, will be expanding his management role to include oversight of the Digital team in Asia.

The appointment will put Demaria in charge of both the cnn.com news team around the region as well as the international Travel team, effective in June.

Nick Wrenn, Vice President of Digital Services for CNN International, said Demaria was a natural fit for the expanded role. “Andrew has great experience at CNN having worked in Asia and Europe, across news and sponsored features, digital and TV,” he said. “Andrew launched and led CNNGo out of Hong Kong and last year successfully created a new travel service for CNN.com International which has so far surpassed all its growth targets. I am delighted with this appointment.”
