Halifax/Los Angeles/London/Toronto/Vancouver – DHX Media has appointed Thom Chapman as its new Territory Manager. Reporting to DHX Media’s SVP of Distribution Josh Scherba, Chapman will be responsible for sales to Asia Pacific territories and English-speaking Canada. Joining the strong sales team already in place at DHX Media, Chapman will focus on the expansion of DHX Media’s properties across all platforms in these key territories. In addition, he will also be responsible for exploiting the potential of the company’s new and catalogue titles with traditional broadcasters and digital platforms in both regions.
Prior to joining DHX Media, Chapman was VP, Business Development and Sales at ToonBox Entertainment where he oversaw financing, PR, sales, deliveries, and advertising for the company’s animated projects. He has also produced live action films for Entertainment One (eOne), as well as creating and producing the YMA nominated 3D interstitial series The Beet Party, along with assisting in the pre-sales and financing of a number of other successful projects.
