Inmarsat, a provider of global satellite communications services, has announced the appointment of Navin Kapila as its Managing Director for India.
Kapila brings many years of highly relevant experience to his new position at Inmarsat. This includes his role as a senior official within the Indian Government’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and senior executive posts with ICO Global, a global telecommunications company. Kapila currently serves as a non-executive Board Member of Telkom South Africa and an International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Special Adviser for Emergency Communications.
Rupert Pearce, Inmarsat’s Chief Executive Officer, said, “I am delighted that Navin is joining Inmarsat and will assume this position for us.
