Lyon, France – Euronews has signed an agreement with Telecom Of Thailand’s newly launched IPTV service TOTiptv.

TOTiptv, operated by TOT, is currently the only digital platform available in the country. Euronews is now part of the “Choice S” package and can already be seen in English by TOTiptv subscribers. Euronews currently reaches one million Thai households and supports the roll-out of this new IPTV offer in the country. 

Arnaud Verlhac, Deputy Director of Distribution at Euronews, said: “In a market with high potential but barriers to entry, the agreement signed in Thailand is proof of the growing interest for the Euronews brand outside of Europe, thanks to its positioning and unique offer. This new contract will help Euronews get a strategic foothold in Southeast Asia, a key zone for expansion of the channel.”
