Cannes – Armoza Formats has acquired international distribution rights to a new reality format starring Britain’s favourite straight-talking style experts, Trinny and Susannah. Based on an Israeli programme produced by Abot Hameiri Productions for Channel 10, the makeover series Trinny and Susannah: Inside Out features the famous fashionistas working with fashion-challenged pairs to transform their bodies and their souls.
Trinny and Susannah: Inside Out is scheduled to make its broadcast premiere in Israel later this month. It examines how fashion and style can influence one’s behavior and perception, and can cause breakdowns in relationships. The series follows Trinny and Susannah as they tour new cities and meet with style-challenged duos to get to the core of their problems and insecurities.
The original series was shot in Tel Aviv and included a teenage daughter embarrassed by her scantily-dressed mom, two sisters disfigured in a car accident, and a male stripper and his fiancée who wanted to make him the marrying kind.
“Trinny and Susannah have already won over millions of viewers all over the world with their candid personalities, so ‘Trinny and Susannah: Inside Out’ offers significant international potential,” said Avi Armoza, Founder and CEO of Armoza Formats.
Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine are best known for hosting the hugely popular BBC television series What Not to Wear for five seasons and then Trinny & Susannah Undress on ITV. Since then, Trinny and Susannah have become brand names synonymous with fashion. They have transformed style-lacking men and women all over the world with television series in eight countries including America, Australia, Poland and Belgium, penned several British and American bestselling fashion advice books, and released their own clothing and underwear collections.
