Paris – Legendary film director Jane Campion will take part in the MIPCOM 2012 Creative Talks series of presentations. Organised by Reed MIDEM, MIPCOM will take place in Cannes, October 8-11, 2012.

Palme d’Or and Oscar-winning writer/director Jane Campion (The Piano, The Portrait of a Lady, An Angel at my Table) will take center stage at MIPCOM for a unique Creative Talks interview, alongside with Gerard Lee, co-creator and co-writer of her new TV series Top of the Lake.

Starring Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men, The West Wing), Holly Hunter (The Piano, Saving Grace), Peter Mullan (War Horse) and David Wenham (The Lord of the Rings), and set in New Zealand against one of the most amazing and untouched landscapes left on the planet, Top of the Lake is a powerful and haunting story about our search for happiness where the dream of paradise attracts its dark twin, the fall.
