The Sunny Side of the Doc is a leading gathering space for documentary co-productions. This year, the 23rd edition of Sunny Side of the Doc had 1,755 participants with 286 commissioning editors and buyers, and 400 exhibiting companies.
This year, the best international project showcase awards include Mission Rape from Sfinx Film in Denmark, The Riddle of the Feathered Dragons from Saint-Thomas Productions in France, Rock’n Roll Farmer You Waki from TVTokyo Corporation in Japan, The Umbrella Murder from Dexel Films in Germany and Songbirdsos by Canada’s SongbirdSOS Productions Inc. DIPS include The Dream of Shahrzad, Wrestling in Dakar and The Crazy Machine. Cuban Hat recipients include Justice for my Sister, Nostalgia and Upside Down Tree.
In 2013, Sunny Side of the Doc will be held from June 25-28 in La Rochelle.
