Toronto, Canada – International distributor Entertainment One (eOne) has picked up worldwide rights to William Shatner’s feature documentary The Captains from Canadian producers Ballinran Entertainment and Le Big Boss Productions.
The film, directed by William Shatner, follows the original Captain Kirk on a voyage of self-discovery as he encounters the other actors who have played the role of Starship Captain within the illustrious Star Trek science fiction franchise.
Featured in the documentary are Sir Patrick Stewart, Chris Pine, Avery Brooks, Scott Bakula and Kate Mulgrew. Oscar-winning actor Christopher Plummer, who once played a Klingon General, also makes a special appearance.
