Hong Kong – Eurosport has unveiled a new high-definition (HD) channel available to operators and viewers across Asia-Pacific. This offering will extend to the Eurosport and Eurosportnews channels, currently distributed in 19 countries and territories across the region. Distribution platforms TFN Media and Kbro in Taiwan and SkyLife in South Korea have already taken up the new channel, with more platforms to follow before the end of the year. The Eurosport HD channel will be a near simulcast of the current Eurosport standard definition channel, with key content in HD to include the Tour de France, WTA Women’s Tennis Tour and Rugby French Top 14, among others.
