London – KidsCo has teamed up with, and animated, pop group Blue. KidsCo will feature the characters of Blue in a special episode of its original production, Boo & Me 2. The Boo & Me 2 Blue episode will air in all of KidsCo’s 95 territories from May 9, and will also be available on KidsCo’s UK website http://www.kidscotv.tv/uk/. The partnership is part of KidsCo’s drive to promote a venture that is central to its philosophy of educating children on environmental issues. Boo & Me 2, which follows the adventures of a mischievous orangutan called Boo, Aiman and his cousin Yasmin, is based on East Malaysia’s orangutan sanctuary, Sepilok. The Boo & Me series follows the characters as they take on a number of conservation issues, aiming to educate children on green issues. The special episode featuring Blue, which will be the last in the series, features the band performing its entry for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest – ‘I Can’ – at a charity concert in London’s O2 Arena to aid the Sepilok orangutan rehabilitation centre.
