China – This year’s KIA X Games Asia (KXG), held in Shanghai for its fifth consecutive year from 29 April to 2 May, will highlight some of the biggest names in the sport and a new street course. Organised by ESPN STAR Sports’ Event Management and ESPN X Games with title sponsor Kia Motors, the event will also be headlined with international action sports athletes. The KIA X Games Asia will feature a line-up of nearly 200 of the best athletes from more than 30 countries competing in the action sports competition. In addition to the mini-MegaRamp, this year’s event will feature the sport disciplines of Aggressive Inline (Vert and Street), Skateboard (Vert and Street), BMX Freestyle (Vert and Street) and the Moto X Freestyle demonstrations (Big Air). The KIA X Games Asia 2011 will kick off four roadshows to give Shanghai audiences a preview leading up to the event on 19-20 March, 26-27 March, 9-10 April and 23-24 April. The KIA X Games Asia 2011 will be broadcast live on ESPN STAR Sports’ networks across Asia as well as SMG’s Great Sports on 30 April to 2 May 2011.
