Hong Kong – Ian Carroll will be leaving Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific at the end of the year. Carroll, EVP at Turner, is leaving to pursue a variety of personal and professional interests. He will remain based in Hong Kong and is to maintain close contact with both Turner and the industry. Steve Marcopoto, MD of Turner said, “While it is an understatement to say I will miss Ian as a full time colleague and that I am truly grateful for his many contributions to our success, I am delighted that he intends to maintain a close relationship with Turner and look forward to continuing to work together as and when opportunities arise.” “I am very proud of the contribution I have been able to make to Turner and I am most pleased that I can leave the company when it is in great shape, facing a very dynamic and positive outlook for the future. Turner has given me enormous opportunity to grow and to learn and I am very grateful to Steve, in particular, for providing me with the opportunity to do so much. My priority for now is my young family and their needs.
