Singapore – AETN All Asia Networks (AAA Networks), Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) and Beach House Pictures has launched an open call throughout Asia to search for an Asian host for a 4 x 1 hour programme, to be aired on HISTORY. The successful host will stand to win US$10,000 and host at least four episodes of the series which will uncover some of the secrets and fascinating stories from the lesser-known parts of Asia. Interested applicants are invited to apply via www.historyasia.com before 15 September 2009. AAA Networks also announced the commission of a 6 x 30 minutes series, which will be aired on the Crime & Investigation Network. To be helmed by Singapore company Very!, the series will examine the crucial roles and tools used in crime solving. These two original series kick off a two-year co-investment partnership between AAA Networks and MDA to support Singapore-based media companies in the production of series or one-off specials, complete with digital media components to offer a 360° viewing experience, for HISTORY, The Biography Channel and Crime & Investigation Network.
