Washington – National Geographic Channels International has partnered with Spanish band Macaco and EMI to celebrate Earth Day. NGCI has produced a special music video in collaboration with the band and the EMI record label, along with a collection of actors and music artists to help connect the public to environmental conservation through music. The ‘Moving’ music video is the first single off the new Macaco album Puerto Presente, and features prominent Spanish and international music artists and actors who donated their time to the project. The music video will be broadcasted internationally on National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Music in 164 countries as well as on www.natgeotv.com. The video is an integral part of the events organized by National Geographic Channels International worldwide to commemorate Earth Day on April 22. With this initiative, NGCI underscores the important role of music can play in raising awareness about the need to take care of the environment and the natural world.
