Singapore – ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) announced the new appointment of Mike Kerr, vice president, Southeast Asia, affiliate & multimedia sales. Mike makes a lateral move from ESS’ advertising sales department, where he was most recently vice president, advertising sales, operations & strategy. In his new role, Kerr will be responsible for ESS’ on-going channels expansion in key regional markets as well as strengthening its relationships with platform operators in the region. He will report to Adam Zecha, senior vice president, affiliate & multimedia sales and will continue to be based in Singapore. Prior to his new role, Mike spent the last eight years with ESS’s advertising sales department, where he was responsible for leading the advertising sales and sponsorship planning and strategy across ESS’ 17 networks. Mike also had direct responsibility for advertising sales in Hong Kong, Japan and Korea and for the client service and sales operations departments.
