Los Angeles – MarVista Entertainment has closed a slew of programming sales with international broadcasters ahead of MIPTV. In Asia, MarVista closed a pan-regional deal with Real Networks for six new movie titles including The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang starring Justin Long; comedy Rockin’ the House featuring William Lee Scott; drama movie series Inspector Mom and thrillers Terrorist Next Door and Enemy Within. A second pan-Asian agreement was inked with HBO Asia for Burbank Animation Studios classic animated features including Mulan, Puss ‘N Boots, Emperor’s New Clothes, White Fang, Beauty and the Beast, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. In India, Sahara One’s newly launched Firangi channel which airs scripted international content dubbed in Hindi, picked up titles including thriller Absolute Zero; western show South of Heaven, West of Hell featuring Billy Bob Thornton and Bridget Fonda; true story-based A Small Town Conspiracy; and romantic comedy Frame of Mind. MarVista also licensed lifestyle series Space for Living, and the powerful documentary Global Warming to RTB Brunei.
