BIG Communications Pte Ltd (BIG), a Singapore-based integrated media company and producer children’s animated programming and live action light entertainment TV shows, has appointed Geoff Watson as director of international business. Watson will be working with BIG to consolidate and expand its international profile and production goals. He will initiate and support business relationships with complementary production and distribution companies that can combine skills, resources, IP and finances to mutually enhance business growth and creative development. Watson will also be consulting on and assisting with all aspects of BIG’s on-going activities and its new Watson will operate from the new BIG Communications office in Sydney located at Trackdown Digital in Sydney, a service and production business he co-owns and manages. Watson was formerly managing director of Flying Bark Productions. BIG is currently co-producing two international animated TV series including Master Raindrop, which was created in-house with New Zealand’s Flux Animation Studio. In addition, BIG is producing light entertainment programmes for Singapore television and HD documentaries for international distribution. BIG also has an interactive subsidiary pursuing various new technology projects and applications.
