Manila – ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation has promoted Charo Santos-Concio as president, effective from March 1, 2008. She is the fifth president of the company. Santos-Concio was formerly head of Channel 2 where she handled full business responsibilities of the channel including sales, marketing and production, and has delivered “remarkable” business results for the past two years. Santos-Concio joined ABS-CBN as consultant since 1987 and has held positions including senior vice president of TV production and executive vice president prior to becoming president.
