AXN Italy has collared all 21 telemovies of the hit British crime franchise Wire In The Blood along with the spin-off US telemovie Prayer Of The Boney. The deal was negotiated by Southern Star International Senior Sales Executive Gisela Asimus-Minnberg. Produced by Coastal Productions for the UK’s ITV1, the Wire In The Blood telemovies are self-contained stories starring Robson Green as a clinical psychologist. Wire In The Blood has been sold to a host of markets including the US (BBC Americas), Asia (Hallmark), Japan (The Mystery Channel), Germany (ZDF), France (AB Sat), Netherlands (SBS), Latin America (HBO and Multi Premiere) and Australia (ABC TV and UKTV).
