Power, independent producer and distributor of feature films and mini series, has unveiled a slate of new high end co-productions for MIPCOM 2007. The slate includes action thriller XIII: The Conspiracy; a big budget Pinocchio remake; and the John Krizanc-penned two part mini-series, The Summit. Power also presents a 13-hour remake of the international television classic, Robinson Crusoe for NBC, and its new 13 part fantasy drama series The Changeling, which is being produced for ABC and CBC. In continuation of a longstanding output deal with RHI Entertainment, Power also brings Tin Man, a cyber-twisted remake of the Wizard of Oz; thriller Final Approach; and Flash Gordon, RHI’s 22 x one hour live action series. Justin Bodle, Founder and CEO of Power, said: “This slate consolidates Power’s position as one of the leading producers of high end event television in the world. All our new mini-series go into production shortly and in addition, we are committed to producing a further six Power Thrillers, our successful in-house TV movie brand, over the coming 18 months.”
