Seoul- The Seoul Drama Awards, an annual competition for dramas produced worldwide, were presented on August 28 at the KBS Hall in Seoul with Japanese, Korean and Chinese works taking top honours. KBS’s A Dwarf Launches a Small Ball won the HDTV feature drama award with Granada International’s Prime Suspect 7 as runner up. Fuji Television Network’s Nodame Cantabile nabbed the prize for mini-series while Sony Pictures Television International’s The Tudors took second spot. The Drama Series award went to Beijing Joy and Art Culture Ltd.’s The Great Revival, with TVE’s Remember When as runner up. Best Juvenile Drama went to Australian Children’s Television Foundation’s Mortified, with second place to EBS’s Jump Season 2. Special awards were given to ABS-CBN’s Remembering – Series, Media Marketing and Production Est.’ KHALAF…A Word of Honor as well as GV Film Ltd.’s The Iron Handed Phantom – Mayavi. The Jury Special Award went to Bavaria GmbH’s Can.
