Seoul- The Seoul Drama Awards, an annual competition for dramas produced worldwide, have been presented on August 28 at the KBS Hall in Seoul with Japanese, Korean and Chinese shows taking top honors. KBS’ A Dwarf Launches a Small Ball won the HDTV feature drama award with Granada International’s Prime Suspect 7 as runner up. Fuji Television Network’s Nodame Cantabile took the prize for Mini Series while Sony Pictures Television International’s The Tudors took second spot. The top Drama Series award went to Beijing Joy and Art Culture Ltd.’s The Great Revival, with TVE’s Remember When as runner up. Best Juvenile Drama was awarded to Australian Children’s Television Foundation’s Mortified and second place was taken by EBS’ Jump Season 2. Special awards went to ABS-CBN’s Remembering – Series, Media Marketing and Production Est.’ KHALAF…A Word of Honor as well as GV Film Ltd.’s The Iron Handed Phantom – Mayavi. The Jury Special Award went to Bavaria GmbH’s Can.
