Sydney- Telco Telstra today launched BigPondTV, offering an array of TV series, made-for-mobile programs, sports and music videos, on its Next G mobile network. Among the major sporting events on offer are AFL and NRL matches and V8 Supercars. Another offering is an exclusive ‘behind-the-scenes’ series from pop group Silverchair. BigPond Group Managing Director Justin Milne said the line-up and the unmatched coverage of the Next G network meant fans could view some of their favourite shows when and where they wanted, with simple subscription or pay-per-view pricing. “BigPond TV is revolutionising how our customers can enjoy their favourite shows. We are taking top programs out of the lounge-room and onto Telstra Next G mobiles, so customers can enjoy them on the bus, in a park, with friends or simply to catch up on a missed episode at their convenience,” said Milne. The line-up at launch includes South Park, The Chaser’s War on Everything, The Shield, Beavis & Butt-Head, Jackass, Pimp My Ride, SpongeBob Squarepants and Family Guy.
