Sydney- Warner Home Video Benelux has bought from Southern Star International the DVD rights to Australian dramas Love My Way, Two Twisted and McLeod’s Daughters, feature film The Interview, and British crime series Wire in the Blood. Warner Home Video Italy snapped up the first two seasons of McLeod’s Daughters and the tweeners’ The Sleepover Club series 1 and 2. Also, SSI has acquired international sales rights to Things to Try Before You Die, an 8 x one hour travel, adventure and reality show produced by Australia’s Nine Network. The pilot scored high ratings when it aired last year as a special in Nine’s long-running travel series Getaway. The concept is to realize ‘wildest fantasies’ in destinations around the world, such as floating in zero force gravity, feeling the hunk of burning love at Graceland, watching the sun come up over the Pyramids, camping overnight in Africa, swimming the English Channel, and spending the night in a haunted castle. SSI will launch the show at MIPCOM.
