Burbank – Disney-ABC International TV has launched to the international TV market 23 new and returning scripted series for the 2007-’08 season. These include eight new network series including one hour dramas Dirty Sexy Money, Eli Stone, Private Practice, and Reaper, and half-hour comedies Carpoolers, Cavemen, Miss/Guided and Sam I Am. Also joining its portfolio are three series for cable which premiere this summer – Army Wives, Greek and Slacker Cats. This follows a year in which the distributor’s slate boasted six of U.S. primetime’s top 20 programmes in Adults 18-49: the ABC Studios series Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Lost, October Road, Brothers & Sisters and Criminal Minds. “As the strong performance of U.S. series on international television continues, we are pleased to launch a promising new slate of shows, building on a record year for our content, and our business,” said Laurie Younger, president, Disney-ABC Worldwide Television.
