NBC-U unveiled eight new shows including a syndicated talk show. Hour-long dramas include 13-episode series The Bionic Woman, Life and Lipstick Jungle; a new half hour comedy The IT Crowd; syndicated talk show The Steve Wilkos Show; half-hour reality shows include new 6-episode series Hey Paula!, Flipping Out and Destination Truth. Lipstick Jungle, based on a book by Candace Bushell of Sex and the City fame, follows the ups and downs of three high-powered friends; docu-series Hey Paula! features American Idol judge Paula Abdul; and weekly adventure series Destination Truth takes viewers along on a man’s quest to investigate stories of the unexplained across the globe. The Steve Wilkos Show is hosted by a former U.S. Marine, Chicago police officer and TV veteran familiar to fans of The Jerry Springer Show, providing fast resolutions for issues such as domestic violence, drug abuse, teen pregnancy and gang violence.
