SPTI’s slate includes Cashmere Mafia, which follows the fortunes of a quartet of successful female executives, friends since college, who turn to each other for guidance as they juggle their careers with family in New York City. One-hour musical drama Viva Laughlin centers on an entrepreneur (Lloyd Owens) who risks everything when he sells his chain of convenience stores and uses the money to create Nevada’s only five-star casino and resort hotel; Hugh Jackman guest stars and executive produces. In Canterbury’s Law, a criminal defense attorney (Julianna Margulies) risks career and reputation in her quest to provide clients with the representation they deserve, despite popular prejudices against the unsavory characters she frequently defends. Damages is about a rising star lawyer (Rose Byrne) who crosses paths with a cutthroat veteran attorney (Glenn Close), who will stop at nothing to win her cases, even if it means manipulating and endangering the family and friends of those around her. And the U.S. version of Creature Comforts is a collection of film shorts from the makers of Wallace & Gromit.
