The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has approved a draft of "must-have" rules to govern free-TV broadcasters transmitting six international sporting events through all broadcast platforms without any conditions. True Corporation sets sight on Myanmar
Thailand’s True Corporation has plans to enter neighbouring Myanmar’s cable-TV market this year. According to The Bangkok Post, the company announced that it will be making a possible investment of one billion baht. True’s Chief Executive, Suphachai Chearavanont, said the company hopes to reach an agreement with the Myanmar government on the joint venture this year.
