Singapore - The Singapore government is planning to invest some S$1.73 billion in information and communication projects in the current financial year. StarHub profit up 3 percent, pay-TV subs up 4 percent in first quarter
Singapore – In the quarter, net profit after tax increased 3 percent to S$82 million on the back of S$531 million revenue. Profit before taxation was 1 percent higher at S$101 million year-on-year (YoY). Free cash flow at S$115 million was 277 percent higher compared to last year’s S$31 million. Singapore - Hosting the first ever F1 night race has boosted Singapore's appetite for the sport on TV. According to an ongoing study, ratings for the 2008 F1 season live races on ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) are much higher than last year.
