New York / London / Singapore / Hong Kong- The average Chinese youth has 37 online friends he/she has never met, Indian youths are likely to regard mobile phones as a status symbol, while one in three UK and US teenagers claim they can’t live without their game console. Quarter of global web users participate in online gaming
Almost 217 million people worldwide visited online gaming web sites in May 2007, according to comScore’s World Metrix report. That’s up almost 17% from May 2006, and represents 28% of the total worldwide online population aged 15 and older.
