HBO multiplex channels launched in Thailand and Sri Lanka
Singapore—HBO Asia has expanded distribution of its multiplex channels. HBO Signature, HBO Family and HBO Hits bowed in Thailand on TrueVisions in July. HBO Family and HBO Hits launched this month in Sri Lanka on Dialog TV and Lanka Broadband Networks , bringing to five the number of HBO channels carried by those two cable operators. China advances towards 1 million IPTV users
Beijing- In the second quarter of 2007 the number of IPTV users in China reached 763,000, up 20.3% on the first quarter, according to Analysis International, a leading advisor of technology, media and telecom industries in China. Henan, Shanghai and Heilongjiang were the most populous IPTV regions, with more than 100,000 users each.
