Al Jazeera English has launched on DDish TV in Mongolia, the only satellite TV operator in the country. It is the second international news network, after Bloomberg TV, to launch in the country in November alone. Deutsche Welle's (DW) Director of Distribution, Petra Schneider announced that it has signed a carriage deal with Univision, the operator of the first IPTV network in Mongolia. “This is a huge step forward for DW in Asia. Hong Kong – Bloomberg Media Group, in partnership with The Trade & Development Bank of Mongolia (TDB), announced the formation of Bloomberg TV Mongolia.
