TVB returns pay-TV license due to $2.2bn losses
Hong Kong - TVB Network Vision has informed the Hong Kong government and the HK Communications Authority of its decision to surrender their Domestic pay-TV Programme Service Licence. The decision came after years of losses. HKTV reports HK$40m loss
Hong Kong Television Network has reported a loss of HK$40.3 million for the year ended August 31, according to The Standard. The report added that HKTV said HK$531.3 million has been invested in fixed assets, but that capital expenditure has slowed down.
