Kore-eda Hirokazu’s Shoplifters (Manbiki Kazoku) was named Best Feature Film at the 12th Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA). The Award was accepted by producer Taguchi Hijiri at the glittering APSA ceremony in Brisbane, Australia.   This marks the first time a film from Japan has won the APSA for Best Feature Film, and is Kore-eda’s first APSA win from eight nominations.
