Foxtel launches Foxtel Play
According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Foxtel's new internet pay-TV service has gone live, sidestepping the need for users to have a cable or satellite connection. Anybody with a broadband connection and a PC, Mac, Xbox 360 or eligible Samsung smart TV will have access to the new service, called Foxtel Play. Foxtel to close 3D channel
From August 27, 2013, Foxtel's 3D channel will cease to broadcast and will be removed from the Foxtel onscreen and online TV Guides. Foxtel will continue to show the occasional 3D Pay Per View Movie title via the On Demand service.
