Luxembourg – SES announced that it has further increased its reach in 2012, driven by strong gains, especially in India and Germany. SES now reaches 276 million TV homes worldwide, over 17 million homes more than in 2011. Hong Kong - Asia Satellite Telecommunications Co. Ltd. (AsiaSat) announced that Dish TV India Limited, part of the Zee Group, will be utilising four 54 MHz Ku-band transponders on AsiaSat 5 to enhance its HD and SD Direct-to-Home (DTH) offerings in India.
