France’s media regulator CSA (Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel) has approved Canal+ Group’s proposed acquisition of Direct 8 and Direct Star from the Bollore Group. French pay-TV company Canal + Group and VTV, Vietnam's national television service have announced the launch of a satellite-distributed pay-TV offer in Vietnam.
